Seminary Support

Seminary Support is a new ministry of Pastor Positions where we help seminaries connect with godly ministries everywhere. There is a great need to raise up godly leaders for today and tomorrow. We would like to expand the ministry of Pastor Positions to better assist seminaries in accomplishing their goals.

Here is our vision: we would create a custom web interface just for your seminary as a separate part of the PastorPositions website. In it we would provide a way to search for seminary students and alumni from your seminary. It would not list other denominations or seminary students. As churches contact your alumni and placement office regarding a pastor, simply refer them to this website as a central hub for the world to connect with those you have trained for ministry. The site would be searchable by a number of criteria such as ministry position, doctrines, or other issues that you would specify.

Please know that this does not come at any charge to you, or the churches that are assisted, or to seminary students or pastors. This is a free ministry. I went to seminary and was a pastor for some time, and one of the most frustrating things was trying to connect with churches and ministries that were like minded with me.

The created page would look similar to the seminary site that is being used to point to PastorPositions.com. That way it would not feel awkward for your users if they go to your seminary site looking for a pastor and click the link to “search for a pastor” it will still feel like they are at your site, and they will only see ministers they are in agreement with.

Other useful information could also be included on the page to assist users such as information about the procedures for becoming a minister or how to contact your seminary. The goal is to best assist ministers and churches to connect and spread the glory of God.
